Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

As a Software Engineer in Test, you will architect and build the automation test application important to the internal Remio Engineers. You will need to work closely with our developers to create an automated test suite including automated regression tests. You’ll help define and participate in manual testing efforts and be responsible for saving the whole team time by automating testing where possible. We’re looking for self-starters who don’t need to be told what to do and can take initiative.



  • 5+ years of experience
  • 2+ years of Unity testing experience
  • C#
  • Developing and automating – smoke tests, regression tests, network tests, certification tests
  • Networked software product QA
  • Mobile, Desktop, Console platform testing
  • High bar for product quality
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced startup culture



  • Jira/Linear ticket systems
  • Oculus Quest 2 testing experience
  • Unreal Engine
  • VR
  • Masters degree in computer science or applied mathematics
  • Multi-platform experience (Windows, Android, MacOS, WebGL)
  • C, C++, GCC, CMake, Make
